Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Overall average but satisfying pizza. They offered a New York style pizza with a thinner and crispier crust. The doors were open the other day to enjoy the warm breeze but in the summer I've heard it gets quite humid when they keep the doors open then too. It's more expensive than you'd want to pay for an average pizza but I suppose you're paying for the location as you stroll around Park Ave.

If you love pizza this is the place to go. I can never fully explain my snobby attitude towards pizza; I'm sure my girlfriend can better explain the struggle of trying to convince me to eat pizza. She loves pizza. If your mother was right and you would transform into what you are most she would be pizza. Now that you understand where I stand in the serious nature of pizza business this place is truly amazing. It's currently raining and I traveled a small bit to get some take out to snuggle up to. It's so good the rain is nothing to tackle to eat it's amazing gooey goodness. The shop is small but not too small. Best white pizza ever reminds me of my philly days.

I LOVE Park Ave. Pizza. It is go good! The pepperoni pizza is delish and so is the white pizza. The crust is crunchy and the dough is perfectly doughy. Every box of pizza is like receiving a little bit of heaven.

You can't go wrong with the white pizza. Throw some broccoli on there and it's magic.

Best pizza I've had in Orlando! The Bianca was perfectly garlicky, generously cheesed up and the crust was DeeeeeLish! Can't wait to sink my teeth into a plain ol' cheese here. Super excited I found this place so close to home! Good job guys!!

This restaurant would have received five stars if it hadn't been for the cleanliness, the floors are a bit dirty and tables are dirty and bathroom is not clean. The food however is very good, the calzone was delicious, and the pizza was decent as well and you can't complain about the prices which are excellent.

Didn't know what good pizza was until my boyfriend introduced me to this place. I honestly don't even know where to start. The pizza crust it's probably the best part. So crunchy! They butter the crust with some sort of garlic butter which gives the pizza an amazing flavor. So far I haven't tried anything else from the menu because all I can think of when I come to this place it's pizza crust!

Park Ave Pizza is located just off Park Ave where E Lyman Ave intersects, in Historic Winter Park. It's a smaller cafe, nice place that puts out a quality pizza for a great price. I was introduced to Park Ave Pizza by friends who regularly order whole pizzas. My current fav is the Bianca, nice crust and garlicy cheesy goodness. The pepperoni and the mushroom are also great. Crisp med crust, not too doughy. Pizzas are ready quickly for take out, never a problem with ordering on the phone. You can pop in and grab a slice or a pie, service is quick and friendly and there always seems to be a few locals grabbing a bite no matter the time of day or night.

Wow! Great pizza I tried the spinach tomato and ricotta cheese pizza, it was delicious thin crust and garlic crust!

How can pizza get any better? It can come from Park Ave Pizza, that's how. This hole-in-the-wall pizza joint doesn't really garner too much attention at first glance. Situated slightly off Park Ave and next to a Brazilian Steakhouse, I would have walked right past Park Ave Pizza if not for my desire to find a cheap and quick solution to my hunger. Best decision ever. This little pizza joint, run by a husband and wife, made one of the best-tasting pizzas I've ever had in my life. I got a slice of the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and I'll be back for more. The crust was amazing; not too thin, not too thick, and perfectly seasoned. The pizza, itself, was great too; fresh garlic, mozzarella, ricotta, and chunks of buffalo chicken came together to create an explosion of flavor and deliciousness. Gahhh. I wish they were open for me to go get a slice now. They also had a good selection of beers and wines too. The staff was super nice, the husband makes the pizzas and the wife handles the register and orders, while occasionally stepping in to help him. There was one more employee, he handled the register when he came in (I think he's the delivery boy too), and he was really friendly. And I don't know if they usually bring the pizza out to you or if you have to wait for it, but they brought it out to us since we got confused about what to do and just sat down, like noobs. lol. The restaurant was clean and had both inside and outside seating. It's perfect for group outings, casual dates, and college students. :) Definitely recommend and will come back.

I admit, I am picky about pizza. So my expectations are high. So if I return to a place, that's the start of a good sign. I have eaten here a couple of times and enjoyed the pizza each time. They do have other options I have yet to try (salads, calzones, etc). The bianca pizza (with or without veggies) is quite good. Not overpowering garlic, good crust, nice amount of cheese. It is a small place, often frequented by nearby college students. But usually pretty quick service. They serve beer as well. Definitely good pizza and worth a few more visits.

Listen guys, this place has fantastic pizza! I feel that it's spoiled me because now I expect all pizza to be that good. I usually get the white pizza or cheese pizza. The ricotta on the white pizza is so good! Something that I absolutely LOVE about Park Ave Pizza is their crust. It's wonderfully soft and crispy at the same time, and has a sweetness to it that takes it to a totally new level. I also really like the service I receive when I go there. It's a local family owned joint, so they treat their customers well. Do yourself a favor and grab a slice at this place!!

Very good pizza that wont hurt your wallet. I was a little skeptical at first but it turned out to be VERY good. Definitely recommend to try if you're looking for good pizza in Winter Park.

I think this is the best value for pizza around this area, because it's delicious and inexpensive. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with friendly service. I often stop by for a quick bite on my way to work.

My husband swears this is the world's best pizza. I've enjoyed their pizza a few times, and am pleasantly surprised by the range to toppings and the family-friendly prices. We tried the chicken BBQ pizza and the pepperoni. Each was good. The crust makes it. It's flaky and light. Delicious!

Tasty tasty pizzas here! Not only it is highly affordable considering the location. Have a slice and you'll be hooked.

Great place to grab a slice. the prices are good and the service is always efficient.

If you are looking for a quick, cheap meal in Winter Park, then Park Avenue Pizza is your place. What I like about them is that they don't over do it with their crust (thin crust) and their sauce and they have also wide variety of pizza styles. Today I tried a slice of white pizza and a slice of their veggie (spiniach and tomatoes)...both were delicious. Good choice if you are in downtown winter park.

This is a pretty darn good pizza place. Typical pizzeria serving pizza by the pie or slice, soda, and subs. I usually pop in once a week for a chicken parm sub and slice of pepperoni. It is family owned so you get great service and the food is good.
(5)Christian R.
Oven cooked new York style pizza. They provide a wide variety from cheese, meat, Bianca, tomato basil and more. The slices are fairly big. Two slices usually handles a hungry fellow. They also have hot and cold subs and special requests can be made if they have the ingredients you want. Pretty awesome Greek salad. It's huge! Family owned and operated and they're really nice too.

Never even knew this place was here. It's been awhile since I've been in Winter Park but I had someone in from out of town and we decided to do a little walking around. Went in here and ...... Now, I'm going to say something that could seem to be racist or stereotyping, but I'm going to go ahead and say it out loud anyway ........ they're Asian. Everyone behind the counter was Asian. Can Asian's make pizza?!?!?! Wow was I surprised. Not so much that it was Asians who made Some of the best pizza I have ever had but the fact that I had some of the best pizza I ever had in Winter Park FL (and I know this annoys some fellow Yelpers - but I'm going to say it anyway ....... hey, my foot is already in my mouth ....... I'm from New York and THIS was some of the best pizza I have ever had!). I had a slice of the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It was their Bianca (Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese with fresh garlic) Pizza with chunks of buffalo chicken strewn on top. It was creamy, spicy and perfectly "garlicked". The crust was thick enough to hold all of the cheese and chicken without flopping over but not too thick. The end crust was perfectly cooked and chewy. My friend had 2 slices of the Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza. He said his was very good too. While we were there I noticed that quite a few people who came in seemed to be regulars. The woman behind the counter seemed to know a lot of their orders before they even ordered! There are a few small tables outside and about 10 tables inside. The staff was very friendly and were right on top of delivering your food to your table and keeping the tables clean. The whole place was spotless! They have bottled beer and bottles of wine. After eating our pizza, having a couple of beers and talking - we both looked at each other and said at the same time "Want to have another?" And so we did. Would make a special trip to that side of town for their Buffalo Chicken!

It's been two years since I last reviewed Park Ave Pizza. This restaurant has consistent food quality, consistent friendly service, and simple tasty pizza. It is hands down the best value on Park Ave. Totally family friendly. Low key vibe. Good food.

Two words: BIANCA PIZZA. Unless you're going there to get a slice (or a whole pie) of bianca pizza, it's just okay. But I'm telling you this: I lived in NYC and I ate Ray's and all the famous pizzas....no one's bianca is better than Park Ave Pizza's! So surprising, but absolutely true. So order that and you're golden. I've tried the regular margherita pizza and thought it was okay, but in actuality it's probably really good and I'm just pissed that I didn't order what I knew was the best (bianca). It's fast and reliable. BUT they're closed on Sundays, which I find really weird for a pizza place. But yeah. YUM.

Love Park Ave Pizza! They have huge portions, great prices and everything is always delicious. They have pastas and salads too. Their staff is friendly and warm and I highly recommend this place.

My favourite pizza place in the Orlando area. They have great, north east style pizza with a perfectly crisp crust as opposed to the thin and flimsy slices so many places pass off as pizza. They've got pizza by the slice, which is always a plus. The family running the shop is always friendly and it's nice to have a mom and pop pizza shop among all the chains in the area. I would recommend the pizza bianco.
